I looked at backpacks. And Nate bought a new jacket, since the one he has is NOT waterproof, a must for Korea. By the time we were done with all that it was time to head to the airport.
I love being military some times. Mostly because we got to go back to the gate with Nate and sit until it was time to board. The kids got to spend those last precious minutes with their daddy.
Then it was time to say good bye. The kids were crying and I teared up. Even the lady who checked tickets started to cry.
The kids wanted to sit and watch until the plane left the gate. They sat on my lap and cried some more.
We decided to go up the the observation deck and watch for his plane. We saw it taxi by.
And then watched it take off.
After that it was time to head home and get dinner. We ate dinner and now the kids are watching a little TV. For now they are doing OK without their daddy. Every once in a while Spencer will tell Kayleigh he misses daddy. But no one is crying and all is well. For now.
